Steps to make to make Balti Biryani

  1. Soak rice for few hours.
  2. Boil rice.
  3. Drain water and keep the rice aside.
  4. Chop all the vegetables.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add in onions and fry till light golden.
  7. Add in chicken,tomatoes,ginger garlic,yoghurt,plums and all the spices..
  8. Bhoono it well.
  9. Cook covered till chicken is tender and gravy thickens.
  10. Add in mint,coriander and green chillies.
  11. Pre-heat oven at 180c.
  12. Spread half rice in a dish.
  13. Put chicken masala over it.
  14. Cover with remaining rice.
  15. Cover the dish with foil.
  16. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  17. Serve with raita and salad.
