  4. 2 large potatoes
  5. 1 carrot
  6. 1 capsicum

  8. 150 gms paneer
  9. 1/2 cup curd
  10. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  11. 2 tbsp ghee
  12. as per need Oil for deep frying
  13. 1 tsp each salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masal
  14. 2 tomatoes
  15. 1 cup milk +saffron strands
  16. 1 tsp kewda essence
  17. 2 tsp cashews

Instructions to make to make Biryani

  1. Boil rice till 3/4th done. Remove from heat. Strain it and keep it in the open.
  2. Deep fry one large onion and potato wedges and keep them aside
  3. Heat a thick bottomed pan, add 2tsp oil, 2 chopped onion,cashews and fry for 3minute. Add capsicum, carrot and mushrooms and stur fry for 5minutes
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, coriander powder, chilli powder and garam masala.Cook for 5minutes, add curds and mix well.
  5. Add 3/4th cooked rice over the vegetables. Arrange fried potato wedges on top and sprinkle fried onions and cashews. Pour 1 cup saffron milk.Sprinkle 2tsp ghee and 1tsp kewda essence.Place few pieces of toasted paneer.
  6. Cover and cook on minimum heat for 15minutes. Open anf serve hot. Sprinkle some green onion leaves and coriander.
