  16. 1 dry red chili
  17. 1 dash hing
  18. For garnish
  19. Few anardana

  1. In a mixing bowl, take cooked rice, add curd.
  2. Add milk, salt, sugar, black pepper. Add the juice of a lemon.
    If your curd is sour avoid lemon juice.
  3. Mix all well. Add chopped coriander. Mix. Add the juice of ginger and mix. Let it stay rested for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Now for tempering, heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add dry red chili, fresh green chili, and a dash of hing.

    The chili I use is very spicy. So I use less quantity. You can increase it.
  5. Add this tadka into the rested rice curd mixture. Mix gently.
    Curd rice is ready.
    Transfer into a serving dish. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve along with papad and pickle.
