  25. 1/2 bunch freshly chopped coriander leaves

  28. 1/2 tsp full black pepper corn powder
  29. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  30. 1 1/2 cup beaten yoghurt
  31. 5-6 tbsp pure ghee
  32. Ingredients for garnishing:
  33. leaves Freshly chopped coriander
  34. leaves Freshly chopped mint
  35. Deep fried onions
  36. Lemon as required

Steps to make to make Restaurant Style Haleem

  1. Step 1(Cook the Beef):Firstly, in a pressure cooker, add the beef chunks, about 8 green chillies, ginger garlic paste.
  2. Add whole spices such as cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon, shahi zeera, black pepper corns.
  3. Add salt as per taste, add turmeric powder.
  4. Add little water(1 glass approx), mix well and cook the mutton until it is tender.
  5. Step 2(Cook the dals):
    Take a pressure cooker, into it add daliya, add urad dal, add add chana dal, add yellow moong dal and rice.
  6. Add about 3 glasses of water and pressure cook until the dals get soft.
  7. Step 3(Blending the Beef and dals):In a blender, add the cooked beef and blend into a fine paste and transfer it into a bowl.
  8. In the same blender, add the cooked dals and blend into a fine paste and keep aside.
  9. Step 4(Mix the cooked mutton and dals):In a separate cooking pot, add oil, add 4 medium size sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
  10. Add ginger garlic paste and saute well.
  11. Add fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, mix well.
  12. Add black pepper corn powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  13. Add beaten yoghurt, mix and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
  14. Add the blended paste of dals and also the blended paste of beef into it.
  15. Mix it well and keep stirring and mixing until the beef and dals get mixed well evenly.
  16. Add the beef stock and mix well.
  17. Add pure ghee all over and mix.
  18. Cover the lid and cook it for about 15 minutes on low flame.
  19. Remove the lid and give a mix.
  20. Switch off the flame.
  21. Haleem is ready to serve.
  22. Serve haleem in plates, add deep fried onions, add coriander leaves, mint leaves,decorate with your style and serve hot.
